I havent written in forever but I couldnt miss this observation. I completely agree with you about Obama...the people who shout and scream the most during the election process never seem to have the energy to make it to the polls- The parallel can be said for what we saw/are seeing right now at home. The people with the time and energy to burn and destroy didnt seem to have that sae energy when it came time to stand in line and vote. I know i will get some criticism for typing this from the relative safety of being abroad, but if there is one thing that i know and believe is simply if you DONT VOTE, YOU GIVE UP THE RIGHT TO COMPLAIN. As i was unable to vote in our (Kenyas) last election, it is my goal to not only vote here in the States but to make sure that I return to Kenya and not only vote, but to influence others to do the same.
