Is there some fine print am missing on the caption. like “spot the joke then solicit for a drink?”. If thats the case, then i have serious eye trouble.
they actually made some free tibet flags in china…so I heard!I think the owner of that particular company got quite the tongue lashing, I cant remember his excuse.
M, you’re a wizard. You place something so obvious and as far as I can see whilst most commentators have quite rightly spotted the irony only Mwangi, he of the displacement issues, has actually seen the wood in the trees.
Buy anything electronic today, what are the chances that it is made, Not in China….fairly slim. There was a time when all toys came from Hong Kong. If you check where Mum keeps her very best cutlery you will find spoons, knives and forks embossed with the word SHEFFIELD all over.

Hmmmm..not so quick, it could have been made in Tibet but in real sense Tibet is a province of China and so it is not as ironic as it looks.
Tibetians don’t manufacture much though..

Mamashady, BBC
says:
Workers said they thought they were just making colourful flags and did not realise their meaning.
But then some of them saw TV images of protesters holding the emblem and they alerted the authorities, according to Hong Kong’s Ming Pao newspaper.
